The First Eleven Sports Agency was founded in 1988 and specialises in sports administration. Among its present customers are football’s Allied Counties, Bideford Tool North Devon, Harrow Youth, Mid Herts Rural Minors and Royston Crow Leagues and the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football Union for Women.
We collect results from a whole range of competitions and using computer software, some developed in-house and others supplied by clients, we circulate the information to clubs, league officers and the media and publish details on the internet.
Since 1990 we have administered the English Clubs Championship for the South West Leagues of the Rugby Football Union. As well as acting as a link between the clubs and the competition organisers, we operate the player registration system and currently have over 30,000 players on the database. We collect results from around 180 games in the competition each week. These are then posted to over 400 clubs, newspapers and league officers in time to arrive on their doormat on a Monday morning (click here for a sample). We also enter them on the RFU's database and they appear on the Union's website (www.rfu.com).
We currently collect results for the Bideford Tools North Devon League, the Thames Valley Invitation League, Rugby Football Union for Women, The Harrow Youth Football League, The Mid Herts Rural Minors League, The Royston Crow League and the Allied Counties Youth League - for whom we also produce a fortnightly newsletter. We also act as a mailing house for a number of sporting organisations - we send the monthly referees appointments bulletin for the British Energy Kent County Football League and The Mid Herts Rural Minors League. The mailouts are either sent to us via email for copying or compiled and collated from information submitted to us.
With the growth of the internet we have embraced that and maintain a number of websites for sports organisations. (click here for a list).
Appreciating the need to provide a reliable service we are able to operate from two sites in Berkshire. If power failures or other problems prevent us operating from one site, we can divert incoming calls to a second site with the minimum of effort and delay.
