 9) Possible Rule Changes for next season

(a) Rule 11     Proposed change to read:  Extra or rolling substitutes may be used with the agreement of both captains.   Once agreement is made the referee should be informed and this agreement should then remain in force for the whole game.

(b)  Rule 11     Proposal for Lending players obligatory:  Where a team has less than 15 players, it is in the spirit of the competition for the opposition to assist in providing players so that the game can take place.   There will be no more the ONE man advantage to any team at the start of the game.   Should a team have less than nine players, then the match will be awarded to their opponents.   When a side provides additional players to assist the opposition to fill their team, these are not considered to be replacements.   In addition, with the agreement of the opposition, players can also be provided as replacements for the opposition.

 10) Possible Vets League

A Questionnaire sent out to clubs concerning a possible Vets League to play mid week. Responses received:-  7 clubs in favour and 6 were not.   Does the meeting think it would be a good thing to start a  Vets League?

 11) It is intended to have another meeting for Captains with refreshments next January.

Suggestions from the meeting last season were –  Changes for Rule 11 (a) Extra or rolling subs, (b) Lending of players obligatory, and  (c) Mid-week Vets League.

 12)  AOB

 13)  Refreshments and arrangement of fixtures.
